    Malcontent in the middle

Being allocated the middle seat on a plane is a double whammy of unwanted personal space invasion. Elbows and iPads being dug into you from both sides, no unequivocal rights to either arm rest (you may win both, you may end up with neither), no acceptable direction to look in other than straight ahead or down, and lots of being leant over by heavily-fragranced air stewards.

You’d think your fellow passengers in the window/aisle seats either side would be grateful that you have drawn the shot straw but no, they simply resent you for filling that lovely void between them. And yet you have to sit there while your lucky window buddy climbs over you to go to the toilet or, just as bad if you are British and Middle Class, have to ask the aisle seat occupier to make way for you.

So why have triple seats at all? Ok, it’s about maximizing passenger numbers in the available space, but why not make narrower planes with just two seats either side of the aisle and rows of happy passengers (or at least until the person in front decides to recline).

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?
